UC Clermont Basketball Teams Earn Bids to USCAA National Championship Tournament

UC Clermont men’s and women’s basketball teams each earned bids to the 2009 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA)  National Championship Tournament being held at Penn State University Fayette, the Eberly Campus in Pennsylvania from March 3-7.

The Lady Cougars, with a 23-8 record, lead by Head Coach Mike Mathews earned their second consecutive invitation to tournament.

The men’s team, with a 15-14 record, lead by Head Coach John Hurley will make their fourth consecutive appearance in the tournament.

Led by head coach Kemar Jackson and assistant coach Brett Black, the win marks back-to-back titles and the fourth trophy for the program in six years.
