Law School Welcomes USC's Dudziak for 2009 Marx Lecture
The impact of the work of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall as a civil rights lawyer both inside and outside of

borders is the topic of discussion for the UC College of Law's 2009 Marx Lecture on March 10.
Featured speaker Professor Mary Dudziak of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law will also discuss
Marshall
s work with Kenyan independence leaders in the early 1960s. The lecture will be held at 2 p.m. in Room 114; a book signing of her newest book,
Exporting American Dreams: Thurgood Marshalls African Journey
, will follow at 3 p.m. in the law schools atrium.
