Clermont College Edible Book Festival Serves Up Literary Delights

Book and food lovers gathered in UC Clermont's Art Gallery to celebrate Clermont College Library's annual Edible Book Festival and to feast on 37 yummy entries.
 
Students, faculty and staff whipped up their creative entries and after almost 100 votes were cast, The People’s Choice Award went to the CISCO class led by Cindi Scibelli for LAN Switching and Wireless.  Together, the class created two computers networked together from cake, cookies and Twizzlers.  

 

 

Also recognized were three honorable mentions for People’s Choice, Cory Becknell’s beautiful rendition of Starry Night from the book

"The 2009 Edible Book Festival was the most successful one yet. Each year libraries around the world celebrate Edible Books. Our library staff is pleased that so many Clermont people participated," said Penny McGinnis, Clermont College Library technical service manager.
