Its no secret that the 2009 graduates are entering one of the most challenging job markets amid the volatile economy. A national survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) found that nearly two-thirds of the more than 35,000 students surveyed who were graduating in 2009 were concerned about finding a job, but were also confident that theyd land a job within three months of graduating,
The same survey also found that graduates who used their campus career centers fared better in the job market. UCs Career Development Center will be holding a free, Job Search Boot Camp from 1-6 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, in the Career Development Center, located in University Pavilion, Room 140.
