Nominate an Outstanding Nurse for the UC College of Nursing's 2010 Nightingale Awards

The UC College of Nursing is accepting nominations for the 18th annual Florence Nightingale Awards for Excellence in Nursing.

The awards recognize professional nurses for their contributions to direct patient care. Nominees must reside and be employed in the Greater Cincinnati area, be licensed as a registered nurse and demonstrate excellence in direct patient care. Nominations are accepted from patients, family and friends of patients, colleagues, physicians and other health care workers.

The goal of these awards is to recognize professional nurses for their contributions to direct patient care. Board of Advisors Nightingale award winners receive $1,000, as well as a commemorative award. Dean’s award winners receive $400. The nomination deadline is March 5, 2010. All nominees will be honored at the April 21, 2010, awards dinner at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.
