UC Sustainability Kicks Off Fund-Raising Campaign and User Survey for 'Bearcat Bike Share'
UC Sustainability is coordinating efforts to get a "Bearcat Bike Share" program rolling at the university.
Bearcat Bike Share will be a free bicycle sharing program for all UC students, faculty and staff. Bicycles can be checked out and used both on and off campus.
Fund-raising for the Bearcat Bike Share program is underway, and you can contribute via the UC Foundation (with donations counting toward the 2010 Faculty/Staff campaign). Also, an online survey is available to help gauge interest in this unique program for UC. (All those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for prizes).
