Summer Online Courses Support New Ohio Department of Education Guidelines For Teachers

Urban Center for Social Justice, Peace Education and Research
is offering new online courses for summer 2010 that provide professional development opportunities for teachers.
The courses address new guidelines outlined by the Ohio Department of Education on creating a positive school climate.
Among the offerings are courses that examine bullying in K-12 schools and the impact of violence on children and the community. For more details on the offerings, view this link:

A global tech outage affecting Windows-based computers halted operations for businesses, individuals and institutions, offering a reminder of the importance of cybersecurity, WLWT reported. The Ohio Cyber Range Institute (OCRI), which is housed at the University of Cincinnati, is preparing Ohio to respond if a cyberattack were to happen.
