UC Biologist's YouTube Video Helps Celebrate Frog Jumping Day
A slow-motion video made by Bruce Jayne, a professor of biological sciences at the University of Cincinnati, was used by the L.A. Times to illustrate frog jumping for an article celebrating Frog Jumping Day. (Frog jumping is a big deal in Calaveras County, Calif., as captured in Mark Twain's collection of stories, titled "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County.")
The original YouTube video posted by Jayne has more than 22,000 views.
