It's Baseball Season: UC Events Upcoming with the Reds, Florence Freedom
Are you a Bearcat and a baseball fan? A pair of nights being planned this summer by the UC Alumni Association may be just the ticket for you.
On July 18, it will be "UC Day with the Reds" at Great American Ballpark, when the Reds play host to the Colorado Rockies. UC President Gregory H. Williams will throw out the first pitch and plenty of other UC-themed festivities are planned, too.
Northern Kentucky gets its chance to get into the act 10 days later, when the event will be "UC Night at the Florence Freedom." UC football coach Butch Jones will throw out the first pitch in that event.
