Pre-conference and Conference Highlights:
Thursday, June 24:
Pre-Conference doctoral student consortium Thursday all day, and a half-day small business policy pre-conference starting at noon.
Friday, June 25
: 8:30 a.m., opening plenary session including greetings from UC President Gregory Williams, the Honorable Mayor Mallory, Annette St-Onge, ICSB President, and Amy Wilkinson, keynote speaker. Also, at noon, the keynote speaker will be Doug Hall, founder Eureka Ranch, inventor and author.
Saturday, June 26:
Noon, Peter Shea, founder of Entrepreneur Media Inc. (
Entrepreneur
magazine) and a distinguished panel will speak in the morning and Chris Thoen, managing director of P&G Global Connect & Develop program.

Katelin “Katie” Weitzel was first drawn to the University of Cincinnati by the esteemed College of Engineering and Applied Science, but her decision was solidified by the groundbreaking work of Dr. Dionysios Dionysiou in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Weitzel’s interest in water treatment came from growing up in Michigan and witnessing firsthand the impact of a water crisis. During her time at UC she has been awarded the Rindsberg Fellowship, a Graduate Student Award in Environmental Chemistry, and recently was named Graduate Student Engineer of the Month by CEAS.
