News from the Aviation Technology Program at Clermont College

Khoa Nguyen earned his Recreational Pilot Certificate recently. To obtain his Recreational Certificate, Nguyen passed an oral and a flight exam with a Federal Aviation Administration designated flight examiner. Nguyen is enrolled in the Professional Pilot Program at UC Clermont College. The laboratory portion of the Professional Pilot Program is taught at the Clermont County Airport.

Nguyen is the son of Hop and Joanna Nguyen of West Chester. When he completes the two-year program through UC Clermont, he will have earned an associate of applied science degree and a Commercial Pilot Certificate.

UC Clermont baseball team wins second national title

The University of Cincinnati Clermont College men’s baseball team has taken first place in the 2024 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Small College World Series. The Cougars defeated four-time national champion Penn State Dubois to claim the program’s second title and first since 2013.
