WATCH: Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Celebrates Grand Opening of CCM Starbucks

Music, bakery treats and, of course, caffeine, are highlighting the grand opening of the new CCM Starbucks on UC’s Uptown Campus. The new CCM Starbucks offers later hours, open until 9 p.m., Monday through Friday.

John Hautz, director of auxiliary services for UC Housing and Food Services, and Frank Weinstock, interim dean of the College-Conservatory of Music, took part in the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 20.

Celebrations continue with specials through Friday. Wednesday’s tastings celebrated the fall season with specials on the tall pumpkin spiced latte.

The mural in the CCM Starbucks reflects the disciplines within CCM. The mural is the creation of Olika Studio downtown.

Another Starbucks is located in the Steger Student Life Center, plus Java City gourmet coffee is offered at other college cafes as well as at Tangeman University Center (TUC).
