UC Colleges Collaborate to Offer New Graduate Degree Program
The University of Cincinnati has launched a new graduate degree program, the Master of Health Administration (MHA), to begin classes in summer 2011. The UC College of Business, College of Medicine and College of Allied Health Sciences collaborated to develop the curriculum to encompass multiple needs, disciplines and roles in the complex health care environment. Areas of study for the degree will include health policy and economics, business, finance, leadership, management, population health and overall quality improvement of health care. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on residency developed for career advancement.

WVXU and the Cincinnati Business Courier highlighted a new collaboration between the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, UC Health GE HealthCare, JobsOhio, REDI Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s to create an MRI Research and Development Center of Excellence located on UC’s medical campus.
