Wireless Internet Access Available for UC Guests

Effective Feb. 1,  UC guests will be able to access the Internet anywhere on campus where wireless Internet service is currently available.

When a guest searches for Internet access, he or she should select the “ucguest” option. No log-on information is needed, but guests must review and accept UCIT’s terms of use before a connection will be allowed.

The speed of the connection will depend largely on the volume of usage. Please note that students and staff should continue to use the “ securewireless” option for Internet and network access, as it is the faster connection. This access replaces our previous Uptown Wireless service.
