UC's Biology Department Hosts On-Campus Plant Sale

Just in time for Mother's Day, the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Cincinnati is holding its annual spring plant sale from noon to 3 p.m., on Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6 on the Zimmer Green Roof outside of Rieveschl Hall.

The biology greenhouse will sell a variety of houseplants, from the common to the unusual. New this year will be a selection of unique perennials for the yard. Herbs, tomato plants and pepper plants will be sold as well. Prices range from $1 to $20.

Profits from the plant sale directly help UC's greenhouse operations. The greenhouse accepts cash only.
