Six Outstanding Women Nominated For C-Ring
The C-Ring, first awarded in 1922, recognizes an outstanding graduating senior woman at the University of Cincinnati. Eligible women students must have a 3.4 GPA, be community or university leaders and demonstrate advocacy for women or girls.
The C-Ring recipient is announced at an annual spring dinner where all finalists are recognized. This years dinner will be held Saturday, May 14. The 2010 C-Ring Recipient, Neha Maheshwari, will award the C-Ring to this years recipient.
This year, 26 graduating senior women were nominated for the 2011 C-Ring by UC faculty, staff or alumni. Six finalists were selected by the C-Ring committee:

University of Cincinnati alum Cole Williams, BSN ’23, has continued to stay busy post-graduation. In addition to working at the med-surg floor at Tufts Medical Center, in Boston, he continues to make strides at Pride and Plasma, a group he founded in 2022 to advocate for revising blood and tissue donation guidelines.
