Carl H. Lindner College of Business Professor to Speak at HBA Event
On September 13, 2011, UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business Executive Director of the MS-Marketing program, Drew Boyd, will conduct an interactive workshop at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) Ohio's Spotlight on Innovation event at the Cincinnati Ballet Center.
In keeping with the event's concept of teaching ways to innovate and apply innovation to a company's growth strategy, Boyd's workshop will help attendees understand, "...innovation is not brainstorming, but rather a structured process to focus creative output."
P&G Healthcare Global Design Director, Alexis Schrimpf, will also be speaking on design's role at P&G in both the innovation process and the in store expressions.
Founded in 1977, HBA promotes leadership development of women in healthcare worldwide by providing educational and research opportunities, fostering networking and mentoring relationships among members and members of the field, as well as recognizing and creating visibility for outstanding women in healthcare.
