CECH Annual Barbecue October 7
On Friday, Oct. 7, the UC College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) hosts its 13th annual Welcome Back Barbecue from noon to 2 p.m. Held on the lawn between Teachers College and the College of Law, Dean Larry Johnson along with CECH faculty and staff will serve up full fare including ribs, chicken, and burgers, as well as salads and dessert. Students, faculty and staff across the UC community are invited to attend.

A global tech outage affecting Windows-based computers halted operations for businesses, individuals and institutions, offering a reminder of the importance of cybersecurity, WLWT reported. The Ohio Cyber Range Institute (OCRI), which is housed at the University of Cincinnati, is preparing Ohio to respond if a cyberattack were to happen.
