Renewed Accreditation for UC's Carl H. Lindner College of Business

Since 1919, the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business has received continued accreditation for its business degree programs.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International Board of Directors notified the Lindner College of Business in December that the school has been recommended for maintenance of its accreditation by the Board’s Peer Review Team and the Maintenance of Accreditation Committee.

The accreditation means that the Lindner College of Business is among the best business schools in the world and offers programs differentiated from those at other institutions in terms of quality, rigor and relevance.AACSB, founded in 1916, is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees in business and accounting.

To maintain accreditation, a business program must undergo a rigorous internal review every five years, at which time the program must demonstrate its continued commitment to the 21 quality standards relating to faculty qualification, strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and achievement of learning goals in degree programs.
