Graduate Students Tackle Global Poverty and Low Literacy Through Video Competition

The University of Cincinnati community can help Lindner College of Business graduate students in the fight against dire poverty and low literacy by viewing and voting for a three-minute video through March 9.

The video—created by MBA students Ajeesh Damodaran, Ge Li and Helen Webster and MS-Marketing student Roniqua Jeffries—is an entry in the Education Track of the Hult Global Case Challenge that aims to tackle global social issues. The Education Track is sponsored by "One Laptop Per Child," a non-governmental organization whose mission is to educate the world's poorest children through portable computers.

The top 10 most viewed videos will advance teams to an all-expense paid finale of the Hult Global Case Challenge on April 26, 2012, in New York City, where they will compete to win the $1 million grand prize from the Clinton Foundation to implement their solution.
