UC Honors Cincinnati's Leading Entrepreneurs

The Center for Entrepreneurship Education & Research in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business presents the 2012 Entrepreneurial Stars on the Square Awards at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at McCormick & Schmick’s in downtown Cincinnati.  

Five community and faculty awards will highlight a lifetime of achievement in entrepreneurship in the following categories:

  • Lifetime Achievement: Richard D. Hannan, retired, Mercury Instruments, Inc.

  • Entrepreneurial Excellence: Carl Satterwhite, president, RCF Group

  • Distinguished Service: Elizabeth A. Edwards, founder, Metro Innovation

  • Emerging Faculty Entrepreneur: W. Keith Jones, PhD, UC College of Medicine

  • Entrepreneurial Excellence: Charles Stix, founder, Stixco

The 2012 propgram will also award scholarships, recognize student achievement and feature students just beginning their entrepreneurial journey.
