Three UC Business Professors Awarded Faculty Grants

Three Carl H. Linder College of Business faculty received grants from the

UC Faculty Development Council

to attend summer workshops in July for professional development.

Roger Chiang, Mike Fry and Craig Froehle from the Department of Operations, Business Analytics and Information Systems in the Lindner College of Business collectively were awarded more than $9,000 to enhance their knowledge to further the University’s mission of teaching and research.

Chiang, associate professor of information systems, and Mike Fry, associate professor of operations and business analytics, will attend workshops on teaching advanced analytics and data mining at SAS (business analytics and business intelligence software) Training Center in Cary, North Carolina.

Froehle, associate professor of operations management, will attend a workshop on Tableau (data visualization software) in Boston.
