UC Goering Center Names Two to Board of Advisors
UCs Goering Center in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business has appointed two members to lead its Board of Advisors for a one-year period.
Chris Ramos, who served as vice chair last year, will now serve as new chair and Jonathan Theders will be vice chair, beginning July 1. Tara Steinhauser Halpin of Steinhauser, Inc., will step down after completing her commitment as chair.

Ramos, who served last year as vice chair for Goering Centers Board of Advisors, is Vice President and Manager of the Middle Market Commercial Banking Group at Fifth Third Bank. He previously served as chair of the Goering Centers Program Committee and has been a presenter to the Goering Centers Next Generation Institute since 2002.
As chair, Ramos will lead the Centers Management Council of five committee chairs who are responsible for coordinating volunteer efforts of each committee. In his new Board of Advisors chair role, he will also serve on the Centers eleven member Board of Directors.
Theders has worked for Clark-Theders Insurance since 1998 and now serves as the agencys president. His firm has won numerous awards, including the Goering Centers Community Service Award in 2010.
