CCM Prep and the CSO Present Adult Chamber Music Weekend

The Preparatory Department of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM Prep) is proud to announce a weekend to play chamber music and work with some of the finest musicians in the city. Adult musicians who want a chance to play chamber music with their peers shouldn’t miss this rare event, hosted by CCM Prep and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) Community Engagement Program on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 28-29, 2012. All sessions will take place at CCM Village.

Participants will be placed in groups of three or more to expand their repertoire, receive coaching from professionals and expand their musical palette. CCM Prep faculty and CSO musicians will lead the sessions. Pre-formed groups or groups from community ensembles are encouraged to participate. Participants receive a discount for tickets to the CSO performance on Sept. 29 (Falla: music from

Students will have the opportunity to socialize with fellow musicians, CCM Prep faculty and staff at the Friday evening reception. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday is included in the cost. CCM will host a recital for participants' friends at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29 in Mary Emery Hall room 3250.

Program Cost:

$125 ($100 for individuals who study privately at CCM Prep) and $30 for each discounted CSO ticket (optional).
