UC Gears Up for Spirit of Enterprise Competition

Graduate students who want a shot at winning $10,000 can put their best business plan forward in the 2013 UC Spirit of Enterprise Graduate Plan Competition on February 21 and 22, 2013.

The competition, hosted by the UC Center for Entrepreneurship Education & Research in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business and Cincom Systems, is open to all graduate students who will compete against teams from top universities in presenting new venture concepts while receiving feedback from esteemed judges and entrepreneurs. The competition will be held at the world headquarters of Cincom Systems, Inc. in Cincinnati.

Prizes are awarded to the overall best business plan, as well as to first, second and third runner-up positions. Best technology plan and top three best exhibit presentations also receive an award.  UC students earned first runner up in 2012 and a $3,000 prize under the direction of Charles Matthews, who aspires to lead another great team in 2013.

All schools wishing to participate must submit the

Intent to Compete

form by December 18th. Teams will then have two months to complete their plans.
