Innovation Takes UC Marketing Professor Center Stage

UC professor Drew Boyd will bring his extensive knowledge of innovation to The Ohio State University as a guest lecturer in the College of Medicine’s Innovation

Boyd, executive director of the MS-Marketing program and assistant professor of marketing and innovation in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, will participate in the forum noon to 2PM on November 14, 2012 at OSU, James 518A.

Boyd, a nationally recognized authority, thought leader, educator and practitioner in the fields of persuasion, innovation and social media, will present on the topic of “Inside the Box: A Systematic Approach to Innovation.”

His presentation will introduce a step-by-step approach to innovation and will lead participants through exercises that demonstrate how methodology works in the lab, clinic or other work settings. His session will provide a framework to integrate innovation into the daily workflow.

Himself an inventor, Boyd earned a patent for a device that makes spine surgery easier. He currently writes a
