Celebrate the Formal Investiture of UC s 28th President

The University of Cincinnati community can participate in the formal investiture of Santa J. Ono as the 28th President of the University of Cincinnati on Friday, April 19, via online streaming video, joining in a social media celebration through Twitter and by attending a mid-morning pep rally.

The investiture ceremony will be shown, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at simulcast locations around the University as well as streamed in real time on the web. On-campus viewing areas include the Tangeman University Center Atrium, Room 142 Snyder Hall at UC Clermont College and the Flory Conference Room at UC Blue Ash College. The Investiture Planning Committee has suggested two Twitter hashtags for celebration of the Investiture. #Celebrate28 is designated for the ceremony and activities associated with investiture, while #CongratsSanta is suggested for congratulatory messages to President Ono.

Join The Party
The #Celebrate28 Pep Rally will commence at 11 a.m. in the third-floor atrium of Tangeman University Center.  All members of the UC community are encouraged to participate and to greet President Ono immediately following the investiture ceremony. The celebration will include refreshments.
