UC Clermont Baseball Team Earns No. 3 Seed in USCAA World Series

The UC Clermont Cougars Baseball Team received a bid to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship tournament at Pullman Park in Butler, Pa.

 

 

The seeds for the USCAA World Series have been released, and the brackets have been set. The No. 3 Cougars will face No. 6 Southern Virginia University on Monday, May 6, at 1:30 p.m. Follow every pitch by logging onto

Penn State Greater Allegheny will host the 2013 USCAA Baseball National Championship. This year’s tournament consists of 10 teams and will be a double-elimination format.  

 

Additionally – the USCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week for this week is Ryan Beard, a sophomore from Batavia, who went 2-0 as he tossed two complete games with nine strikeouts. He allowed just four hits in 14 innings and had an ERA of .64. Beard’s highlight was a perfect game with no hits and six strikeouts.

The University of Cincinnati Clermont College men’s baseball team has taken first place in the 2024 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Small College World Series. The Cougars defeated four-time national champion Penn State Dubois to claim the program’s second title and first since 2013.
