Celebrating Women and Diversity Series Features Pediatrics Professor
Melinda Mahabee-Gittens, MD, professor of pediatrics at UC and in Cincinnati Children's Division of Emergency Medicine, will be the featured speaker at the Celebrating Women & Diversity in STEM Series networking breakfast set for Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the Kingsgate Marriott. Mahabee-Gittens will discuss her successes and lessons learned in academia, tips for promotion and career advancement, and the value of collaboration and mentorship. She will describe her unique experiences and perspectives as a woman and an underrepresented minority in academia and academic medicine.
