UC Blue Ash Hosts New Event for New Graduates

As part of the University of Cincinnati graduation festivities, the UC Blue Ash College Alumni Association hosted a new event for graduates and their families. More than 75 people attended the first UC Blue Ash College Spring Graduate Brunch, held on Saturday, April 26, on the college campus.

“This event is a great way to recognize our new graduates, thank them for choosing UC Blue Ash College for their education, and welcome them into our alumni community,” said Cady Short-Thompson, dean of UC Blue Ash.

Students who graduate from UC Blue Ash take part in the Commencement ceremony held on the Uptown Campus. Since the ceremony was in the afternoon this year, UC Blue Ash leaders offered new grads the chance to gather with friends and family at the college in the morning. They met in the new Community Commons in Muntz Hall where they enjoyed a free brunch and UC Blue Ash coffee mug, then received congratulations from Dean Short-Thompson.

The college also provided free charter buses to the commencement ceremony and back for those who preferred to skip making the drive.

UC Blue Ash College was founded in 1967 and has more than 20,000 alumni who are located across the region, nation and world.
