Winners of DAAP Faculty and Staff Awards Recognized

Faculty and staff in the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) recently earned recognition during the college’s Faculty and Staff Awards program.

Among those recognized were

  • Phyllis Borcherding, associate professor of fashion design and product development, received the “Outstanding Teaching” award.

  • Terry Boling, associate professor of practice of architecture and interior design, received the “Award for Outstanding Research or Creative and Professional Work.”

  • Johanna Looye, associate professor of planning, received the “Award for Outstanding Service.”

  • Edson Cabalfin, assistant professor of architecture and interior design, received the “Award for Outstanding Junior Faculty.”

  • Aarati Kanekar, associate professor of architecture and interior design, received the “Pogue Wheeler Traveling Fellowship.”

  • Gail Trahan, assistant to the dean; Judy Smith, senior financial administrator; and Pat Rogers, program coordinator, received the “Special Dean’s Award.”
