UC College of Law Hosts One-Day Free Legal Clinic for Small Businesses
Small businesses and startup companies can benefit from the knowledge and legal expertise of local business attorneys at the
Free Legal Advice for Local Businesses
clinic, a one-day event from 3-7 p.m. Oct. 9 at the College of Law. Area business owners can schedule a 30-minute consultation with an attorney to discuss a variety of practice areas, including contracts, business startup, litigation, real estate, tax, labor & employment, environmental issues, intellectual property and nonprofit organizations.

Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic
at the College of Law has partnered with the Duke Energy Law Department to provide the special event.
Pre-registration is available by contacting Lori Strait (
or 513-556-0117) by Tuesday, Oct. 7. Walk-in registration is available until 6:15 p.m., Oct. 9.
The College of Law is located at the corner of Clifton Ave. and Calhoun St. Free parking will be available at Deaconesses Hospital Garage on Straight Street (across from the College of Law). Parking passes will be available.
The pro-bono event, now in its fourth year, has been very successful. Over 100 Tristate businesses and entrepreneurs have been helped since its inception.
