UC Plays Vital Role in the US High Energy Physics Program

UC’s McMicken College of Arts and Sciences Department of Physics Professor Alexandre B. Sousa and his team have been involved in an experiment that examines the properties of neutrinos, one of the most abundant particles in the universe.

The researchers are using a 500-mile accelerator-based neutrino experiment to find a clearer picture of the origins of matter and the inner working of the universe.
