Welcome Reception for UC's New Director of Public Safety, Chief of Police
The University of Cincinnati is hosting a welcome reception for Jason Goodrich, director of public safety and chief of police, at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in University Pavilion, Room 320.
Goodrich was selected to lead UC's Department of Public Safety earlier this month. He officially joins the university Nov. 3.
Goodrich previously served as chief of police at Lamar University in Texas and served as a captain for the Vanderbilt University Police Department.
Goodrich also has held leadership roles at Indiana University Southeast, University of Arkansas and Southern Arkansas University. He holds a M.A. in conflict management and a B.A. in criminal justice.
