All Campus Blood Drive a Success

Hoxworth Blood Center,  University of Cincinnati, reports that the UC All Campus Blood Drive was once again a huge success. All donors received the official #hottestcollegeinamerica sweatshirt.
 
“The blood drive registered 1,349 individuals and collected 903 lifesaving blood products, enough to save more than 2,709 lives in the Tri-State. The drive also recruited 541 first-time donors”, says Alecia Lipton, spokesperson for Hoxworth Blood Center.

When asked why he donates, University of Cincinnati student, Will Hodge stated, “I was blessed with the gift of O- blood, so why not share it.”  Hodge along with 1,348 other students, faculty and staff rolled up their sleeves to save lives with the gift a blood donation.
 
Mark your calendar for the next All-Campus blood to be held Monday, February 2, through Friday, February 6 at TUC on the UC campus.
