Lindner Ranks Among Top 50 for Best Online MBA Programs in the Country

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business at UC was recognized in November 2014 by

Affordable Colleges Online

for having one of the Best Online MBA programs in the nation. After examining hundreds of schools with a focus on a high quality and low cost programming, UC was ranked among the Top 50 Best Online MBA programs in the nation.

Affordable Colleges Online (AC Online) collected and analyzed data from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the schools themselves to rank online MBA programs with the best combinations of quality, cost and student support. To qualify for the ranking, colleges and universities had to have at least one fully online MBA program, have full AACSB accreditation and not-for-profit colleges and universities only. Online MBA programs were scored on such qualitative metrics as student-faculty ratio, percentage of faculty with PhDs, number of online MBA options, number of MBAs conferred and tuition cost.

The ranking comes on the heels of several other impressive rankings accolades in 2014. In November, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked Lindner among the Top 50 MBA programs in the nation.

In March, U.S. News & World Report released its annual list of the country’s Best Business Schools and Lindner earned the biggest rankings jump of any school in the country on both the full-time MBA chart and on the part-time MBA rankings chart. Lindner was ranked 60th overall and 33rd among public universities and was the only school in the Tristate area ranked among the United States’ Top 100 full-time MBA programs. Lindner’s part-time MBA program was ranked 81st overall and among the nation’s Top 50 part-time public programs.

In September, Lindner was ranked the No. 1 best value business school in the country by CollegeAtlas.org, a website that helps students decide which universities to attend. In its first-ever rankings of MBA programs, College Atlas ranked Lindner as the best program in the nation based on its academic quality, job placement success, average GMAT score, tuition affordability and acceptance rate.
