Annual MLK Blood Drive Set for Jan. 19
Lifes most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?
These wise words spoken by Martin Luther King, Jr. are as true and important today as they were in his lifetime.
On Monday, Jan. 19, Hoxworth Blood Center and The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center have teamed up to provide a way to give back to others on a day focused on answering Kings question, what are you doing for others?
The Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Blood Drive will be held from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the center located at 50 East Freedom Way.
Each donor will receive FREE museum admission at the center, one FREE AMC movie ticket and will be registered to win a pair of tickets to a UC mens basketball game courtesy of UC Foundation/Development for Diversity & Inclusion.
Every blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives.
