Watch Your Colleagues Compete at UC Choir Competition, March 2

The University of Cincinnati will host its first ever Sing Off competition on March 2. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to noon in the College-Conservatory of Music’s Patricia Corbett Theater.

Three choirs comprised of UC’s talented faculty and staff will compete. A member of Q102 radio will emcee the event. The event is open to the public, and faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. Take an early lunch and come watch your colleagues compete!

UC President Santa J. Ono will join a panel of judges (all of whom are CCM graduates) including Isaac Selya, the founder and artistic director of the Queen City Chamber Orchestra; Robyn Lana, the founder, managing artistic director and conductor of the award-winning Cincinnati Children’s Choir; and KellyAnn Nelson, director of Education and Outreach for the Cincinnati Boychoir and the artistic director of the Young Professionals Choral Collective.

The event is intended to spread awareness and promote engagement in UC’s ArtsWave Campaign. ArtsWave, with the help of tens of thousands of donors like you, supports more than a hundred arts and community organizations that make our region an amazing place to live. You will have an opportunity to support this wonderful cause through Friday, March 13.
