“Love wins” became a popular way to describe the Supreme Court of the United States’ (SCOTUS) ruling in support of the constitutionality of gay marriage and plaintiff Cincinnatian James Obergefell in summer 2015.

But what does a conservative Think Tank have to say about the proceedings, the ruling and its impact on the country’s future?

Find out when UC’s College of Law hosts SCOTUS in Review 2015, a lively discussion of the Obergefell case, among others, with Cato Institute Senior Fellow Ilya Shapiro, who will be joined by UC’s Professor A. Christopher Bryant at 12:10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14.

The discussion will also focus on other recent landmark SCOTUS decisions surrounding divisive but important national issues, including the Affordable Care Act, often called Obamacare, and the Fair Housing Act.
