Corporate Social Responsibility Focus of March 18 College of Law Symposium
The Corporate Law Center at the University of Cincinnati College of Law will host the symposium Corporate Social Responsibility and the Modern Enterprise from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 18, at the Hilton Netherland Plaza.
Keynote speaker for this years event is Claire Iery, associate general counsel and associate director of ethics at the Procter & Gamble Company. Following her presentation, four panels of experts will address the issues and challenges for corporations that desire to operate in a socially responsible manner.
Topics include:
- the changing legal framework for corporate structures,
- sourcing dilemmas and best practices, and
- unique issues facing privately held companies.
The panelists include prominent national attorneys in the field of corporate governance, law professors from across the country, and general counsels from some of the most prominent companies in Cincinnati.
