Lindner MBA Program Earns Nation s Biggest Three-year Rankings Jump in U.S. News & World Report

The full-time MBA program at UC’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business climbed seven spots in the 2017 U.S. News & World Report rankings released on March 16, 2016. The program is now ranked among the Top 35 MBA programs offered by the nation’s public universities.

One of the key drivers of the program’s ranking increase is the recent improvement in incoming student quality metrics. The most recent class in the Lindner full-time MBA enjoyed one of the highest undergraduate grade point averages in the nation and accomplished one of the nation’s highest jumps in average GMAT score. With this rankings increase, the Lindner full-time MBA program has earned the distinction of the biggest rankings jump of any school in the United States over the past three years. The Lindner part-time MBA program has achieved the same feat on the part-time rankings chart.

Lindner’s part-time MBA program is now ranked among the Top 100 part-time MBA programs in the country.

“The continued external recognition of our programs via top-tier rankings is a great honor and strong validation of the high quality of our academic programs, our students and our graduates,” says Lindner College of Business Dean David M. Szymanski. “It’s truly gratifying to see the ongoing recognition of our outstanding staff and faculty’s constant dedication and commitment to producing an ever-improving top-tier business education.”

The U.S. News & World Report rankings accolades further solidify Lindner’s position as one of the most recognized MBA programs in the nation. Recently, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked both the Lindner full-time MBA and the Lindner part-time MBA programs among the nation’s best MBA programs and CollegeAtlas.org named the Lindner MBA the No. 1 best value MBA program in the country. In 2016, U.S. News & World Report ranked the Lindner online MBA one of the Top 35 fully-online MBA programs in the United States and CEO Magazine ranked the Lindner online MBA one of the Top 15 best online MBA programs in North America.
