Haunted House Tickets for Blood Donors

Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati is hoping to scare up blood donations by partnering with the Dent Schoolhouse for a blood drive.

Donors who give blood between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Dent Schoolhouse will receive one free admission ticket to the Dent Schoolhouse. Donors can also visit their local Hoxworth Neighborhood Donor Center on Thursday, Oct. 27, or Friday, Oct. 28, to receive a buy-one-get-one free admission voucher in exchange for their blood donation.

“We’re thrilled to have the support of ‘Cincinnati’s Scariest Haunted House’ for this fun and festive blood drive,” said Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “And while our donors shouldn’t be scared to donate blood, we’re sure they’ll love the experience of roaming through The Dent Schoolhouse.”

The Dent Schoolhouse, which was recently rated one of the five most terrifying haunted houses in the nation by USA Today, is located at 5963 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45248.

Appointments for blood donation are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Donors can schedule appointments by calling (513) 451-0910 or by scheduling online at www.hoxworth.org
