UC Business Alumni, Partners To Be Honored March 8

The University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business Alumni Board of Governors will once again bestow honors to local business leaders for their contributions to community service and achievement.

Known as Cincinnati’s longest running event recognizing business alumni and partners, this year’s 32nd annual Cincinnati Business Achievement Awards will be March 8 in the Findlay Room of the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, 151 W. 5th Street, downtown Cincinnati.

The event emphasizes accomplishments and support of alumni and business partners who make an impact in the Lindner College of Business, the Cincinnati community and the global business world.

Lindner’s Board of Governors will present the following honors:

  • Roger K. Newport, BBA ‘88, CEO of AK Steel, will receive the Carl H. Lindner Award for Outstanding Business Achievement.
  • Carl Satterwhite will receive Distinguished Service Award. Satterwhite is president and owner of RCF Group.
  • Paycor will receive a Business Partnership Award for its support of the Lindner College of Business.
  • Eric Bachus, BBA ’18, will receive the Carl H. Lindner Scholarship for his academic success. Bachus, a finance and accounting major with a minor in entrepreneurship, is a Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS Scholar.

Four Lindner alumni will receive the PACEsetter Award for exemplifying the ideals of PACE (Professionalism, Academics, Character, Engagement) in both their personal and professional lives. The honor will be bestowed upon:

  • Ami Kulkarni, BBA ’01, CEO of Solica Construction, and Founder and CEO of Arkadiance
  • Kyle Neumann, BBA ’04, ?Vice President of Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital
  • Ryan D. Pontsler, BBA ’10?, Portfolio Manager with Journeyman LLC
  • Amanda Wait, BA ’00?, Partner, Global Competition Practice at Hunton & Williams LLP
