Lung Disease Experts to Meet at UC Oct. 1
Experts in a broad range of lung disorders and diseases will meet at the University of Cincinnati Saturday, Oct. 1, for the first Pulmonary and Critical Care Update.
Sponsored by UC College of Medicine, the pulmonary and critical care division of UCs
Department of Internal Medicine
and the American Lung Association of Ohio, the update will feature local and national leaders in pulmonary and critical care.
Attendees will get an overview of new diagnostic and treatment strategies for pulmonary and critical illnesses, including pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and obstructive lung disease.
Designed for pulmonary physicians, thoracic surgeons, internists, physicians in training, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, the update will provide seven category 1 continuing medical education credits.
The update runs from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Marriott Kingsgate Conference Hotel on UCs Academic Health Center campus.
