Shutdown for Lab Systems in CVC Saturday, April 14

In order to complete repairs to the lab exhaust system at the Cardiovascular Research Center (CVC), Maintenance and Operations will need to take systems out of operation from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 14.

During this time, all fume hood and general lab exhaust fans will be down; therefore no work will be possible in any fume hoods or biosafety cabinets.

Maintenance and Operations will also be shutting down the supply air systems to the labs in order to prevent over-pressurization. This will have an effect on temperature control in the lab space. The office space and LAMS space should remain unaffected.
