CCTST Grand Rounds: Academic-Community Partnerships in Environmental Health
Academic-community partnerships in environmental health are the focus of the next Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) Grand Rounds Friday, Nov. 15, in Medical Sciences Building 4051.
From 11 a.m. to noon, Rosemary Caron, PhD, MPH, will present, "An Academic-Community Outreach Partnership: Building Relationships and Capacity to Address Childhood Lead Poisoning. Caron is an associate professor in the department of health management and policy at the University of New Hampshire.
From noon to 1 p.m., Erin Haynes, DrPH, will present, "Engaging Community in Environmental Health Research in Eastern Ohio. Haynes is an assistant professor in the department of environmental health and director of the CCTST-supported MS in Clinical and Translational Research program.
Grand Rounds are free and open to the public. Continuing education credits are offered. Lunch is available to CCTST members (join free of charge) who RSVP to Elizabeth Heubi by Nov. 12.
