MSB Exhaust Fans Will Be Shut Down Saturday, May 10, Affecting Labs

The general exhaust fans in the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) will be shut down from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 10, affecting labs in the north half of the building. The shutdown is necessary to tie Phase II work to Phase IV work.

Labs will still be operable and temperature control, fume hood exhaust and supply air will not be affected, but pressurization will become slightly positive without the exhaust system for the labs. Consequently, odors are more likely to migrate into corridors.
