The University of Cincinnati Neuroscience Institute and Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience present a lecture series on "Fibromyalgia and Migraines from 6:30 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in Room 2108 of the Stetson building, 260 Stetson St.
The program features the following speakers and presentations:
- "Juvenile Fibromyalgia: Whats New? by Tracy Ting, MD, assistant professor, UC Department of Pediatrics; Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center.
- "Update on Migraine by Vincent Martin, MD, professor of medicine and the director of the Headache and Facial Pain Program at the University of Cincinnati Neuroscience Institute, who has published extensive research on the topic of migraines. Martin is the president of the Ohio Headache Association and vice president of the National Headache Foundation.
Presentation moderator will be Lesley Arnold, MD, professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience and director of the Womens Health Research Program. Arnold has led numerous studies on the treatment of fibromyalgia.
