Academic Health Center Faculty Among Those Honored at Faculty Awards
Five Academic Health Center Faculty were among those honored at the 2018 University of Cincinnati Faculty Awards Ceremony, Tuesday, April 17 in the Great Hall, Tangeman University Center.
Academic Health Center Honorees include:
Shauna Acquavita, PhD, associate professor, School of Social Work in the College of Allied Health Sciences Academy of Fellows for Teaching & Learning Inductee
Daniel Hassett, PhD, professor, Department of Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry and Microbiology Established Entrepreneurial Achievement Award
David Hui, PhD, professor, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Distinguished Research Professor
Gary Kelm, PhD, adjunct professor, James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award
Frank McCormack, MD, professor, Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine George Rieveschl Jr. Award for Distinguished Scientific Research

The initiative aims to recognize and celebrate the lifesaving contributions of platelet donors, who help to ensure the survival of patients battling cancer, trauma and other life-threatening conditions in local hospitals.
