Hoxworth Blood Center rounds out Cincinnati Favorites blood drive tour at neighborhood donor centers

As the hugely popular Cincinnati Favorites Summer Blood Drive Tour comes to an end, Hoxworth Blood Center is giving donors one last chance to score their limited-edition t-shirt and a special gift from local sponsors.

Eligible individuals are invited to donate blood or platelets at one of seven Hoxworth Neighborhood Donor Centers during Cincinnati Favorites week, scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 8 through Monday, Sept. 14.

During the Cincinnati Favorites blood drive tour, Hoxworth teamed up with local restaurants like Skyline Chili, Frisch’s, Graeter’s Ice Cream, Busken Bakery, Coffee Emporium, LaRosa’s, Montgomery Inn, Taste of Belgium, Aglamesis Bros. and The BonBonerie for a series of blood drives held throughout the summer. Donors received a “Cincinnati Favorites” t-shirt and a special gift from drive sponsors.

Donors who give during Cincinnati Favorites week will receive the exclusive t-shirt, as well as gift from participating sponsors while supplies last.

“This year’s Cincinnati Favorites tour has been hugely popular, even as the COVID-19 pandemic posed unique challenges for our staff and donors,” says Alecia Lipton, Hoxworth spokesperson. “Partnering with these uniquely Cincinnati businesses has been a great way to support local restaurants and save lives in the process.”

Appointments are highly encouraged. Donors can schedule appointments by calling (513) 451-0910 or by scheduling online at https://hoxworth.org/donors/locations.html
